【Korea.Cheongju】★★★★☆ Seongan-gil Street – Daiso in Korea

After going to Cheongju Zoo and the Children’s Amusement Park in the morning, we spent hours strolling around the most popular Seongan-gil Street in Cheongju. It was exhausting but worth it!~

Amazingly, the area of Seongan-gil Street is vast, but because our time is limited, and we mainly wanted to visit Daiso in Korea, we only walked along the A→B road in the picture (and the time became so late after shopping)

In addition to the landmarks on the road,

The food was divine, and there are a lot to choose from! We’re salivating as we passed by some food stalls

Of course, we’re thrilled! We wanted to try as many as we can!

I bought an iron man shirt at SPAO in Korea, because I personally like it very much (I will wear this T-shirt as often as I can)~ So this time I went to SPAO and see if there are any unique finds. (Mr. Monkey is rarely shopping.) Although I didn’t see what I wanted to buy, I helped Mrs. Monkey find a pair Sailor Moon pajamas. They offered a special price for two sets, so because of this Mrs. Monkey gave in! She said they are very comfortable to wear!

After that, we followed the map to the flagship store of Daiso. The floor area is not that wide, but it has several floors. (Photo from Google)

Our family has been stuck in B1 for the longest time, because there are stationery, toys, food, etc., these treasures are cheap and many are Made in Korea, so I bought a lot of them here! Although the price of each item is about 1000~5000, we probably spent about 170,000 won in total, and the items we bought were packed in a very big bag! I forgot to take pictures at the time. The picture below is taken after a month or so, when I finally got the chance to take them out.

South Korea’s stationery is still very good, color paper, sticker book, scratch painting, etc. are all asking me to buy them ~ After returning to the hotel this evening, the two monkeys can’t wait to open their “treasures” to play!

Satisfied that everyone is euphoric today! Although we only walked in small areas of Seongan-gil Street, we were already happy. There are still a lot of areas that haven’t been explored yet, but we really recommend you  to go to Seongan-gil Street for holiday, when you visit Cheongju!

And also, we visited the homeplus inside Seongan-gil Street on our last day before we hopped on the plane. Homeplus is like the RT-Mart in Taiwan, it is a very good place to buy all kinds of daily necessities!!
