Before I came to Cheongju, I didn’t even know where Cheongju is when I booked the ticket. Thanks for the articles on the Internet, they provided us with guidance, and recommended some special places. Although Cheongju is not as vast as Seoul or Busan, the malls or shopping centers are still very convenient, and you can also buy almost anything here! The serviceable bus system, with the help from the Kakao APP, allowed us to easily reach almost any place we wanted, even if we didn’t understand Korean.
With convenience in transportation & shopping, Cheongju gives us the image that it is not a small city. Although the zoo & children’s amusement park is relatively small, but Cheongnamdae is really worth visiting. Because travel to Cheongju is currently not very popular, English is useless here, which makes communication difficult. But at least people we met here, both young and old, are friendly and warm, and full of enthusiasm. The three-day trip is not enough. There are still some places that I want to go to, so maybe I’ll try to see if there’s a chance for me to visit Cheongju again!
